Introduction
The landscape of business is rapidly evolving. Innovative solutions to complex management problems and strategic thinking are a must to effectively respond to challenges and opportunities in a dynamic business environment. The MS Program is widely recognized as the most appropriate educational qualification for future senior managers and executives. Therefore, the Department of Economics and Management Sciences aims to offer a new program MS (Management Science), which is both educationally sound and directly relevant to those areas of industry, professions and public administration, which Management Sciences graduates tend to enter.
Programme objectives
This program has been designed to achieve the following objectives:
- To equip students with essential knowledge, skills, concepts, tools and techniques for strategically managing organizations
- To inculcate managerial competencies in learners and bringing them at par with the changing global scenario
- To instill strategic thinking and creative decision making skills in students
- To develop managers and business leaders with the vision, knowledge, creativity, skills and ethics necessary to integrate corporate strategy with management practice
